This is not a cat tree. Cat trees are carpeted. Cat trees are beige. Cat trees live in the corner and you try not to look at them.
The Column is solid walnut, natural sisal and architectural geometry. It belongs in your living room, not in spite of it.

Why your cat will be obsessed
Height is territory. Elevated positions reduce anxiety, provide exercise, and give cats the oversight of their surroundings their biology asks for.
An enclosure with sight lines. The slatted pod lets your cat be inside and still see out. That combination is what turns occasional investigation into genuine use.
A route, not a destination. Staggered perches create a movement sequence, and the sisal post runs the full height of the column for scratching at any level.
A note from The Haus
Most cat trees ask you to choose: functional or acceptable-looking. This one doesn't ask. It is both, which is what The Settle collection exists to be. Solid walnut improves with age. Three to four weeks is not long for something that will live in your home for years. The cheap alternative ships tomorrow and needs replacing in eighteen months. We are not saying you have no other options. We are saying this one is worth the wait. Your cat has already decided it is theirs. You are facilitating that decision.

Care and usage
- Place it with a view.
Put it where your cat can see the room, not in a corner where it will be ignored.
- Assemble on a level floor.
The Column ships flat-packed and assembles without tools. Check every joint is secure before your cat's first climb.
- Care for the wood.
Wipe the walnut with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not wax.
- Let the sisal distress.
The post will look scratched with use. That is correct. It is a scratching post that looks scratched.
Disclosures
Made to order: ships in 3–4 weeks. You will receive confirmation of your production slot within 24 hours. You can cancel within 48 hours of ordering for a full refund. After that, production has begun, but your statutory right to cancel still applies: you can return The Column within 14 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging, for a full refund of the item price. Return delivery is at your cost (approx. £[__] for a 31 kg item). If it arrives damaged, photograph it and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement, and we won't ask you to return 31 kg of furniture first. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.
